3 I am able to go to Spanish speaking community and speak to them in Spanish about real estate and I have stayed in France without anyone helping me at all. so I have a little credibility that no other teacher could match.
4 If I go to Chinese community, I can speak to them in chinese "I am from Hong Kong and I live in a country with most Chinese and now becoming China's city. I don't assume A CLASH OF CIVILIZATIONS. WE HAVE IN COMMON that we can potentially build on. And I have the credibility that no other teacher has.I think this is necessary to lead us out of the problems that we are in right now.

Salary and incomes are not growing and we all are anxious about it. We all are afraid of globalization. That fear has been fed by the politics.
16 Now my strong belief is globalization is here to stay and it is a powerful potential tool for good. But we have to make sure that everybody has the ability to access what good about globalization. Now people are locked up. So what I am doing, transforming education to YOU AS A BROKER / AGENT to close the achievement gap that exists right now. If the Chinese can't study the exam, I equiped her to study, and sure she is prepared for this. I ask you to study with them too and equipe her too.
17 I stop talking how good you teach my students and actually start rewarding you for being great by paying you more money to help her passing the license. I need to pay you higher money to close transactions. I have to give you more professional development, especially in your early years where you start RE and I have to change how we assess progress for you.

22 I believe I bring to this world is somebody who sees the world through a variety of difference. My mother is HaNaDo. My father is Canton. I grew up on HK. I studied only French and in France. I worked in Taipei and then Beligium each 1 whole year. Then in Florida America. Family fit right in here, no doubt.
23 When it comes to issues, I think the tensions are tied to economics. Asian are likely to be unemployed, employed in lower wage jobs, will not have healthcare, and be in substandard schools, drops out of schools. So on in every indicator, we are doing worse. That contributes to the gap in perceptions that we are talking about because you know, the glass often looks HALF EMPTY TO US, our children. so my job in investing time in educating you as RE or making sure you pass the license, or insuring equality of opportunity when it comes to REO, enforcing our EAO. All that build in a sense that you and our children matters to us, that they are not those kids, they are OUR KIDS. and when we can have a culture and a team that perceives every one of us as mattering, and then they will respond differently. We will start STITCHING TOGETHER the kind of team that all of us hope and dream for.
24 RECOGNISE THE MOMENT. WE WERE IN PARTICULAR MOMEMNT.
25 "I am a different kind of RE teacher. I am doing in some new ways" Powerful message for this moment. The reason I am teaching and the reason I believe I am going to shine and build the team because we are in different moment. I can't copy other books and teach. I take the same approach. I need right now is to bring you students together to think in practical reasoned ways about RE that we face to be straight with us about and honest with all of us about the challenges that we face (physical tired to sit 3 hours, forgeting what we learn). So part of what my message is built around is that we are in this defining moment. and I can't keep doing the same things that we have been doing that havent' been working.
26 Other RE agents lose when they are not clear about what they stand for.
Other RE agents lose when they are attacked and because they don't know where they stand, they end up getting defensive instead of going on the offensive. So let me give you an example, I am having a debate with whether it is the RE market down and no business or too many licensee out there competing, not reading the principal book is ok, or at least we redefine secret profit, but these things that look on off, or we need to do whatever to only study exam questions. When we get defensive, we are not sure about our beliefs and our convictions, and so we start trying to sound a little bit like them and that is a profound mistake. If I sound like everybody else, then what is the point, you know?
27 SEIZING THE MOMENT = We have to deal with RE student licensing now. we have to pass the license NOW. we have to (...) NOW. wE have to double our investment in broker licensing class NOW. I understand we dont' have alot of time to waste. That is a compelling message for all of you. Thank you
