Topics include ingredient and payroll cost analysis, sales and use taxes, catering sales, customer and vendor set up, etc. Exercises include daily register and POS system sales, setting up budgets, etc. This is a hands-on workshop. Food Safety Certification (in Spanish)

State law requires that specified food facilities employ at least one person who has successfully passed a California State approved and accredited food safety certification exam. Certification is mandatory and re-certification is required every five years.
